Require 2 people -as soon as possible to cover for Buyer(s) on maternity leave.
The primary role will be placing purchase orders and expediting deliveries. Strong communication skills are required as the individual will be in contact with internal departments and external Suppliers. Knowledge of Microsoft office programs is required. Standard hours would apply with little to no travel. Any travel would be day trips Preference will be given to those candidates that have worked in a manufacturing environment and have knowledge of MRP and inventory control. The job requires some college or 2 years related experience in the purchasing field. Very Junior levels.
