Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Game Designer position.
The position description is as follows:
Job Brief:
Full responsibility for a “theme” (game), from conception to market; frequently works on complex, highly visible and profitable games (e.g., WAP) ·Keeps abreast of competition to assess the trends, use, and development of effective games.
Visualizes, designs and creates game prototypes including scope and content of games ·Works with various outside entities including licensing agencies, patent attorneys, and all levels of other organizations ·May have responsibility for the development of up to 100 games at any given time ·Responsible for managing the project schedule of game design/development ·Leads team and resources in all aspects of game development.

Provides a significant & long-lasting impact on multiple aspects of the organization & products or projects; has very frequent customer interaction on major issues; key contributor in setting company goals & objectives.

Job Competencies:
Problems are extremely difficult in nature and scope and usually span organizational lines; pronounced developments without any previous experience are required to resolve; technically, this level is considered a “world class” expert; individual contributor who assists in setting and reaching operational and strategic goals; business expert in dealing with competition, business acumen, and strategic development in increasing revenues and profit; organization spokesperson on product and projects to others outside the organization and company; mentors team members and is relied upon to establish team goals and alignment; sets team goals and objectives; takes independent actions and calculate risks; champions new, innovative ideas translating them into refinement in business processes.
Job Credentials:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, 6 or more years industry experience, and proven track record of developing at least three “successful” games; ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual problems; deals with abstract variables and symbolisms.
Job Conditions:
Standard office environment; very limited risks; acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may supervise the activities of other personnel; serves as internal business consultant to organization
