Director of Recruiting

Please note that this role requires experience as an individual contributor and leader on the agency side in both contingency recruiting and the placement of consulting resources.

Human Capital Consultants seeks an experienced recruiting leader to grow a team placing full time and consulting resources in the corporate Human Resources and Recruiting verticals. The ideal candidate will be someone who is currently in a Recruiting Lead role leading a team and is ready to take the next step in their career. The role will initially be an individual contributor role while growing a team. This is a full desk role. Responsibilities include requisition development and recruiting. While the role is Boston area based you will be responsible for serving clients throughout the northeast region. We require an experienced professional with the maturity to work independently and the confidence to successfully work with our clients and prospects.

Human Capital Consultants is seeking a highly driven Director of Recruiting who thrives on working with a highly motivated team in an entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for a candidate who has a high sense of urgency, that something inside themselves that drives them to succeed, strong communication skills, business acumen and who strives to do the right thing without having to take a course in business ethics. Bottom line: We are looking for a talented professional who is enthusiastic, positive, ethical, tenacious and entrepreneurial. As an entrepreneurial growing company the ideal candidate for us is someone who is agile yet can work in a process driven environment while always looking for ways that we can do it better. Our new Director of Recruiting will understand ours is a relationship driven business and have a talent for building professional relationships.

The successful candidate will:

• Call on perspective clients in the northeast region to present Human Capital Consultants suite of Recruitment and Human Resources services.
• Recruit, screen and present qualified candidates to clients and perspective clients and close business opportunities.
• Work with our sales team to fill client requisitions they bring to the table.
• Attend and be an active contributor at local business networking events.
• Help position HCC as the premier provider of Recruitment and HR services in the northeast region.
• Grow, mentor and manage a recruiting team in located in locations throughout the northeast region.

Required Experience:

• Experience working a full desk in a recruiting lead role in an agency environment.
• A desire to build a recruiting practice in the corporate HR and recruiting verticals.
• A rolodex of past customers/prospects in the northeast region. Ideally that would include Boston, New York, Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
• Experience growing a recruiting team and performing as a mentor/leader.
