SureFire is a leading manufacturer of specialty illumination tools for consumer, government, military and law enforcement applications. We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. If you are good at negotiating, we are looking for you! The duties of this position would include negotiating with vendors and manufactures, obtain bids, place purchase orders, and occasional travel to visit vendors, manufactures, or potential vendors.
Qualified candidates will have at least four to five years of functionally related experience, a professional attitude, excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and computer skills, and be able to work well under minimal supervision. Prefer at least an AA degree, basic Epicor/Vantage database knowledge, and MRP experience. Prior experience in working within a manufacturing company is highly desirable.
