Job description
Job description: The Engineer is reponsible for performing or managing tasks on projects, subsystems and components of large projects or entire projects with a limited staff.
Job duties: Design – Responsible for product, process and system design; guiding subsystem and component designs; analysis; generating and approving test plans and procedures; designing tests; test reporting and results interpretation; research; prototype construction; troubleshooting problems with processes or products.
· Process Development– Improving overall processes and related issues including process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product assembly and production processing, problem solving, and program management. Other areas include design, installation, and debugging of tooling and capital equipment.
· Project Management – Responsible for scheduling and meeting deadlines; communicate project creep, keeping project tasks on budget; completion on time; vendor sourcing and quoting; parts specifications; managing system design.
· Personnel Management – Responsible for identifying personnel and staffing requirements; motivation and leadership of teams.
· Documentation – Responsible for creation of procedures, processes, drawings, rework routings, GLPs, specifications, SOPs and component masters for approval by project leader.
· Communication – Responsible for both oral or written engineering and technical communications with customers, management and team members; solving and communicating problems with supervisor or project leader.
· Leadership – Responsible for contributing to company improvements or company policy; directing project resources to ensure schedule attainment; ISO procedures; facilities planning and improvement; adaptation of company or business unit to future demands of the market.
· General – Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Req. candidate profile : · Knowledge of medical product, design, use and construction
· Ability to design medical disposable products
· Ability to generate assembly procedures, qualification and validation plans, test protocols, and technical reports
· Ability to apply elementary problem solving techniques
· Ability to demonstrate aptitude for hands-on engineering
· Ability to establish priorities
· Ability to discern problems and resolve issues
· Ability to work as a team member
· Ability to obtain vendor quotes and negotiate pricing
· Ability to follow all CDT documentation
· Ability to follow Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO 9001 Standards
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to follow oral and written communications in English
