| Job description: |
JPL Productions is seeking an experienced Senior Web Graphic Designer who can produce cutting edge designs, and be a branding expert and client strategist. While you must have a tremendous design portfolio and the ability to present your ideas clearly, your most valuable skill is the ability to translate marketing and business objectives into creative strategies.
Your creativity must be derived from an advertising and marketing perspective. The Senior Web Designer will help determine the functional objectives of leading clients through creative brainstorming sessions and will translate those core objectives into design concepts.
You must be able to meet with clients, understand their objectives and address their needs with innovative ideas. You should see yourself taking on the role of creative director down the road with the opportunity to manage other designers.
This is not a programming or entry level position. We are looking for a highly skilled web graphic designer who has mastered industry tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. Key responsibilities include creating design comps and presenting them to clients, providing direction to designers and the production team, and performing competitive research and analysis.
