JPL Productions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flash Designer/Developer with a strong web development/production background and a Flash portfolio that contains ActionScripting. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for design and creative problem solving, who can assess and define both the creative and technical aspects of a project and deliver a product that is on time, on budget and exceeds clients’ expectations. This role is based on creating inspiring designs and interactive experiences while incorporating our clients’ corporate branding, strategy and feedback.
The candidate must be a team player who will work well with other designers, developers, project managers and account executives. An understanding of modern Web standards and CSS based layout is absolutely required.
The Flash Designer/Developer must be comfortable discussing site architecture and must be able to work within an existing site framework and server environment. He or she will need to leverage, and contribute to, existing graphic assets and digital content while producing dynamic, highly interactive web sites.
This is not an entry level position. We are looking for a highly skilled Flash Designer/Developer.

| Job duties: |
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in art design or related degree)
• 5+ years experience and advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash MX 2004, ActionScript 2.0 and OO based programming
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• A strong understanding of how to design effective site functionality and interactivity while incorporating site architecture and data flow, user-interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes
• Desire and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, service driven environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously both individually and as a team member
• Experience with XML data integration, (working knowledge of ASP.NET, web services and other server-side technologies is a plus)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Must possess high level of enthusiasm and be a strong team player
• Ability to see the big picture while executing the details of a design
• Must be knowledgeable in current web, broadband, and portable digital content technologies and trends and have the ability to learn new proprietary software and web applications very quickly
• Experience working from wireframes to design for.NET business applications is a plus
• Interactive and agency experience a plus
