Job description Job description: To support Lonza's Worldwide Purchasing Srategy, Lonza has an immediate opening for aPurchasing Analyst Support all aspects of Lonza's Strategic Sourcing Methodology which includes analyzing the expenditure base to identify cost reduction projects; perform market analysis to develop forecasts; model total costs; and identify economic trends. Provide analytical and project management support for cross-functional and cross-organizational sourcing initiatives. Develop future system concepts, including user requirements, to ease the gathering of data on a global basis. Req. candidate profile : BS/BA degree required. 3-5 years relevant experience in financial analysis, purchasing or supply chain management. Candidate will be an analytically oriented team player with demonstrated financial/acquisition experience and will possess the ability to synthesize information quickly and present/summarize conclusions and recommendations. Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required. Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & SAP.
