Job description: We are currently seeking a FT Member Service Consultant for our Branch location in Tarrytown, NY.
  • This position will reside in Tarrytown until September and then move to our Purchase NY location. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is looking for an entry level position in a company that values their people. .We promote from within and recognize and reward people for their accomplishments.

  • Processes member transactions related to deposit and loan accounts and provision of other financial services. Answers loan questions, makes referrals to MST, and disburses loans.
  • Cross-sells loan and deposit products and other financial services to new and existing members to support service center and organizational goals.
  • Maintains sales and service standards as required by position benchmarks.
  • Monitors cash control position for own cash drawer, ATM. Monitors and replenishes service center lobby supplies/inventory.
  • Backs up Sr. Member Service Representative for service center administrative duties.
  • Maintains logs for internal controls and auditing.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Bank/Credit Union regulations,
  • Stays abreast of industry developments including but not limited to changes in regulations.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to get along with members, co-workers, management and vendors.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Req. candidate profile :
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, figure aptitude.
  • Some customer service/sales, cash handling experience preferred.
  • Able to operate a computer terminal. .Basic keyboarding skills.
  • Knowledge of current word processing and spreadsheet computer software preferred.
  • Some travel to area locations may be required.
