Job description: Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Purchasing Manager position.

The position description is as follows:

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the purchasing staff and accountable for supply inventory needed for all departments and oversees the management of the warehouse and receiving staff.

The Purchasing Manager will insure controls are in place to comply with processes as stated in the Corporate SOPs. Responsible to the Senior Director of Finance for successful performance of assigned duties and for the supervision and performance of Warehouse Supervisor, Purchasing Clerks, Purchasing Agent, and Receivers

Accountable to the Corporate Senior Director of Procurement for compliance to corporate directed policies and procedures.

Assists and advises other departments and Company personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of their assigned job duties and the Company overall. Develops and manages the budget for the Purchasing department. Responsible for ordering all supplies and equipment for casino, hotel and administration offices. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of the warehouse.

Consulting and advising department heads on decisions for equipment and supplies. Reviews requisitions. Negotiating with vendors to procure the best price and quickest service for equipment and supplies.

Prepares purchase order or bid request. Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.

Manages processes, procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries. Review purchasing/receiving department activities with Senior Director of Finance.

Responsible for compliance to Corporate contracts/agreements, SOPs, and product specifications. Other duties as assigned.
Job duties: Five to seven years experience in purchasing and receiving and inventory control with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.


Salary Range:starting $33, 500 DOE
