Mack-Cali seeks a Space Planner/Interior Architect to join our Development/Construction department in our Cranford Corporate office. This permanent, full-time position interfaces with M-C Leasing and meets with various tenants, managing their program needs and integrating the resultant space plan solutions within our properties. Position plans utilization of space and prepares construction documents for variety of end users throughout our portfolio of class A office buildings.

| Job duties: |
- Meeting with prospective tenants, leasing representatives and brokers. Determining the user's needs and conveying them graphically to the leasing team;
- Inspect buildings and office areas evaluating suitability for occupancy considering factors such as egress, existing conditions, location and size;
- Manage process of measuring of facilities to determine field conditions and space footage available for occupancy;
- Draws design layout;
- Prepares construction documents necessary to obtain building permits.

| Req. candidate profile : |
- Minimum of three years experience involving space planning commercial interior projects including the production of schematic drawings, design development and construction documents for tenant fit-out.
- Proven experience working in client/tenant relationship situations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2002-04, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Architecture degree from an accredited institution required. NJ Architects license a plus.
- Ability to successfully multi-task and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required. Professional appearance a must as this positions involves coordinating efforts between vendors, leasing and property management staff, as well as current and/or prospective tenants
