| Job description: | SENIOR TEST ENGINEER-Sys Level Test
Implement methodical and detail-oriented test practices in the testing of RAID and JBOD controller boards and storage systems. Improve engineering development and testing processes, documentation, execution and review of test procedures for storage systems hardware and firmware EVT and DVT. Design, develop and write test plans, test cases and test scripts to facilitate automated testing and to identify and resolve product issues. Work closely with team members and customers to isolate and reproduce issues and verify fixes. Work closely with developers for problem resolutions. Set up PC server based lab equipment in both Linux and Windows environments. |
| Job duties: | QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong testing experience and knowledge of storage products and protocols including RAID, ATA/SATA/SAS, FC Strong background in testing at component and system level Demonstrated, excellent knowledge in Linux, Windows NT, 2000, XP Fluent in Perl, Java, TCL, C/C++ BS or MS in EE/CS & minimum 8 years storage industry experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong team player |
