| Job description: | SR. HARDWARE ENGINEER (2)
Will be a member of the Hardware Engineering group, responsible for the System board hardware design of network storage controller. Primarily responsible for the SAN controller design, development and product transition to production. Design tasks include logic design, FPGA design, schematic entry, worst-case timing and loading analysis. Development works include directing PCB layout, board stackups and board level bring up, debug and design validation. |
| Job duties: | Must have good analog knowledge for analyzing and debugging high frequency signal at GigaHertz range
Core competency in high speed digital design where transmission line environments are common Must be proficient in designing high frequency interface connected to the fibre channel, including Double Data Rate (DDR) memories, and PCIx bus. Good understanding on Power delivery practices Design experience on FPGA using Verilog a plus Experience with lab measurements using oscilloscopes, TDRs, and other high frequency analyzers is a must. A good knowledge of transmission line analysis and signal integrity tools are beneficial Previous design experience in a field which may include networking, graphics or computer systems is necessary Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong team player BSEE, and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience |
