Job description
Job description: Widener University, an independent, metropolitan doctoral-intensive teaching institution, invites nominations and applications for the position of Head Coach of Men's Soccer. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the program under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics.

Responsibilities:

The head coach will develop and manage a NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Program in accordance with NCAA and University guidelines; manage, organize and execute practice and game coaching responsibilities for traditional and non-traditional seasons; oversee and direct team fundraising, alumni relations and also have responsibilities as an Adjunct Physical Education Instructor of weekly classes. The head coach will also be responsible for facility, and event facility and personnel management.
Req. candidate profile : Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelors' degree (masters preferred), collegiate coaching experience and demonstrate past experience in recruiting and retention of student-athletes and in student-athlete academic monitoring; and possess excellent interpersonal, teaching and communication skills. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop successful programs and maintain program operations; and possess a valid driver's license.
