Hilbert College, a private, teaching centered liberal arts college, located in scenic Western New York invites applications for an Admissions Counselor.
The Admissions Counselor represents Hilbert at assigned college fairs across the Northeast region.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include the coordination of and participation in a variety of recruitment initiatives including: planning events, attending college fairs, participating in high school visits, organizing off-campus recruitment activities, recruiting transfer students, and building relationships with high school and community college counselors, administrators, and prospective students and their families. Additional duties include assisting with in-office processes, campus visits, and front-desk customer service, as well as, participating in all aspects of the Enrollment Management area to ensure student success.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Flexibility to travel; ability to work some nights and weekends; establish and maintain positive relationships; familiarity with all campus services, policies and regulations; administrative and organization skills; ability to communicate effectively in large and small groups; ability to work within a set budget; ability to work with others as part of a team; strong computer skills; proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel and the internet; attention to detail; ability to work with minimal supervision. Bachelor's Degree and a valid NYS driver's license are required. Admissions experience a plus.
