Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in an NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program. Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate student athletic trainers, and providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, to include travel with assigned athletic teams. Will be required to cover classes for the Head Athletic Trainer (as necessary) and assist with administration.
OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience required. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification "national" certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers' "state" license or eligibility for license required. Experience with intercollegiate student-athletes desired. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in an NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.
