| Job description: | RESPONSIBILITIES
The College of Education at UNLV, an NCATE accredited college, invites applicants for a full time, 9 month, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Special Education to start Fall 2009. The successful candidate will have specific expertise in autism, mental retardation, or early childhood special education. Candidates will teach and advise students in degree programs leading to licensure or endorsement. Research responsibilities include development and maintenance of a record of scholarly productivity including research presentations as well as grant submission. |
| Req. candidate profile : | QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: Earned doctorate degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university. Candidates must have experience in autism, mental retardation, or early childhood special education. PREFERRED: Preference will be given to candidates in inclusive practices, ABA, and transition practices. |
