To oversee the Audio-Visual (AV) Department's staff members and workflow and work with Media Campaigns, Communications, International Grassroots Campaigns, and other departments to create exciting, cutting-edge audio-visual edits to promote animal rights
Job duties:
*Manage staff members in the AV Department
*Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AV Department, including ensuring that all projects and requests are completed on schedule and that quality control has been performed
*Coordinate and produce photo and video shoots and exciting, cutting-edge edits for a variety of PETA's campaigns
*Manage the work queue for editing tasks, occasionally communicating with requesters
*Ensure that the AV library is properly maintained by monitoring checkout procedures for photographs, slides, negatives, video copies, and video and photographic equipment
*Ensure that AV equipment is properly maintained
*Keep an updated archive of existing standard operating procedures and generate new standard operating procedures, as needed
*Ensure that all projects are completed within budget
*Perform any other duties assigned by the vice president or the director
Req. candidate profile :
*Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
*Three to five years of years of editing experience, including but not limited to experience with Final Cut Pro
*Three to five years of management experience
*Ability to make sound, independent judgments
*Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
*Ability to work under tight deadlines in a professional manner
*Commitment to the objectives of the organization
*Must be 21 years of age, and posess a valid drivers license with 3 years'clean driving record
