| Job description: | To oversee the Advertising Department's staff members and the organization's approach to advertising, including the tracking and analysis of advertisements and promotional efforts, and to develop future strategies based on the results |
| Job duties: | *Manage staff members in the Advertising Department
*Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Advertising Department, including ensuring that all projects and requests are completed appropriately and on schedule *Explore new marketing strategies and stay informed about current marketing trends *Advise on offline ad and PSA creatives based on marketing research *Develop and implement strategies and processes to pitch, track, and analyze offline advertising campaigns *Manage the research, tracking, and analysis of PETA's offline advertising campaigns and alter efforts accordingly *Develop and implement quality-assurance procedures for factors affecting advertising campaigns *Keep an updated archive of existing standard operating procedures and generate new standard operating procedures, as needed *Ensure that all projects are completed within budget *Perform any other duties assigned by the vice president or the director |
| Req. candidate profile : | *Three to five years of management experience in a marketing or advertising environment
*Degree in a related field or equivalent experience *Proven understanding of marketing and advertising concepts and strategies *Ability to make sound, independent judgments *Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously *Ability to work under tight deadlines in a professional manner *Commitment to the objectives of the organization |
