Teach counseling core courses such as vocational development, appraisal, group methods, research methods, consultation, counselor orientation, family systems, diversity and multiculturalism, and practicum/internship; scholarly activity; advisement; university and professional service.
Req. candidate profile :
Required Qualifications:
Earned Doctorate in Counselor Education or related field
Demonstrated teaching ability in the fields of mental health and school counseling
Ability to address issues of diversity in the counseling process
Preferred Qualifications:
Eligibility for New York State Licensure in Mental Health Counseling
Mental Health Counseling Experience
Demonstrated productivity or potential as a teacher/scholar
Experience or willingness to work with the profession's national standards (CACREP)
