The Graduate Admissions Counselor is responsible for managing the relationship between CCS and prospective graduate students by assisting them to make an informed college choice. The position is the primary point of contact between the College and potential students and is responsible for meeting individual and overall new graduate student enrollment goals.
Responsibilities:
Research and manage assigned geographic recruiting territories;
Assist in planning and implementing a Graduate Recruitment Plan;
Plan and manage the implementation of personal follow-up strategies with inquiries and applicants;
Interview and counsel students on admissions and financial aid procedures;
Work as a liaison between prospective students and the Graduate Program Director;
Attend appropriate graduate fairs;
Travel to various locations giving presentations about our programs;
Plan and assist with special events hosted by the graduate program;
Perform additional duties as required.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required, master's degree preferred, art/design background and/or admissions experience required. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills; confident giving visual presentations about College programs and demonstrate strong organization skills and the ability to work independently.
