Anatomy and Physiology II with Lab. The second semester of a two-semester 4 credit course in Anatomy & Physiology with Lab. This course is for aspiring health care workers. It continues a first semester course that provides a solid foundation in normal human anatomy and physiology, along with relevance to pathological conditions and clinical applications. The focus during the first semester is on body organization, movement, and control mechanisms, whereas emphasis in the second semester is on the mechanisms employed to maintain the body.
Introduction to Life Processes. A 3 credit lecture and recitation course emphasizing the fundamental biochemical and cellular concepts required for a solid understanding of life's processes. This information will provide the background for the Anatomy & Physiology courses, as well as an Introductory Microbiology course.

Qualifications include:
An earned Master's degree in a biological science from an accredited institution with emphasis and concentration in anatomy/physiology and fundamental biochemical and cellular concepts, which form the basis of the teaching responsibility in these courses.
Desired additional qualifications include:
College-level teaching experience equivalent to one full academic year in biological science laboratory courses.
Preferred additional qualifications include:
Effective oral, written, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
