Responsibilities:
Coordinates all aspects of accelerated, second-degree generic BSN program
Teaches theoretical and clinical courses in area of expertise
Participates in marketing and other activities to promote recruitment of students
Serves as clinical nursing faculty in areas of specialization as required
Participates in committee work as need to support the goals of the department, college, and university
Primary geographical area of responsibility is Jersey City, some teaching may be required at the Communiversity Campus in Wall Township, NJ.
Req. candidate profile :
Requirements:
Current New Jersey State Nursing License at time of hire
Doctorate preferred but must be obtained within five years of appointment.
Employment experience in clinical specialty
Previous teaching / training experience
Demonstrated technological competence
Evidence of strong leadership skills
Evidence of strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Evidence of progressive and innovative critical thinking
Commitment to diversity among faculty, staff and student body
Dynamic and student-centered
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interface with external constituencies.
