Job description: Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates all aspects of accelerated, second-degree generic BSN program
  • Teaches theoretical and clinical courses in area of expertise
  • Participates in marketing and other activities to promote recruitment of students
  • Serves as clinical nursing faculty in areas of specialization as required
  • Participates in committee work as need to support the goals of the department, college, and university
  • Primary geographical area of responsibility is Jersey City, some teaching may be required at the Communiversity Campus in Wall Township, NJ.
Req. candidate profile : Requirements:
  • Current New Jersey State Nursing License at time of hire
  • Doctorate preferred but must be obtained within five years of appointment.
  • Employment experience in clinical specialty
  • Previous teaching / training experience
  • Demonstrated technological competence
  • Evidence of strong leadership skills
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Evidence of progressive and innovative critical thinking
  • Commitment to diversity among faculty, staff and student body
