Leading the MFA Scenic Design Program, mentoring and recruiting students, teaching classes in Introduction to and Advanced Scenery Design on the undergraduate and graduate levels, and related theatre specialties including but not limited to CAD, model building, rendering, and scenic painting. Coursework may also include team teaching interdisciplinary courses like Graduate Seminar. Other responsibilities include supervision of all scenery design with an emphasis on properties and scenic painting facilitation. Design Scenery for up to three productions per academic year.

Qualifications include:
A PHD or an MFA in Theatre from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Scenic Design, USA membership and college or university teaching experience preferred. The candidate should have practical knowledge in CAD, model construction, and scenic painting; experience in non-theatre industrial, commercial, and film design a plus. Proficient oral/written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others and mentor students is essential.
