| Job description: |
To oversee all elements of financial resource development for UWO, including annual campaign, leadership giving, major gifts and planned giving.
Responsibilities:
- Foster and contribute to an organization wide environment of collaboration and cooperation.
- Provide ongoing leadership to volunteers, staff and projects necessary to ensure successful execution of the fundraising plan.
- Establish and monitor long-term strategies, goals and objectives for all elements of fundraising (workplace accounts, corporate gifts, leadership donors, major donors).
- Ensure that proper and effective systems are in place for data management (including ongoing tracking, monitoring and reporting fundraising revenues).
- Establish appropriate goals for all fundraising efforts (including Leadership donors and prospects) in conjunction with budget requirements.
- Coordinate execution of all fundraising collateral with Communications and Marketing department.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage new business in all elements of fundraising (workplace accounts, corporate gifts, leadership donors, major donors).
- Volunteer management (to include recruitment, direction, support, training, evaluation and recognition).
- Manage department staff including annual implementation of performance evaluations.
- Develop departmental budget in conjunction with other senior management personnel.
- Liaise with Labour Staff Representative to enhance fundraising initiatives within the Labour movement in Oakville.

| Req. candidate profile : |
Qualifications:
- University degree in related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of fundraising/not-for-profit management experience at a senior level.
- Knowledge of Major Gift Fundraising, sales and marketing techniques.
- Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
- Access to own transportation required.
- Previous United Way experience an asset.
- Member of CAGP/AFP or CFRE designation an asset
