Successful applicants will be expected to provide instruction in:
Educational psychology and development-related topics at the undergraduate level, at least two of the following:
Human growth and development;
Adolescent development;
Early childhood development;
Advanced cognition and learning; and
Any of the above with a cross-cultural and/or international perspective at the graduate level.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
Taking an active role, including advising, in a teacher education and/or the MA in Cross-Cultural & International Education (MACIE) program;
Maintaining a systemic record of research productivity;
Participating in the development of grant proposals; and
Performing other duties normally associated with faculty appointments in a major university.
Req. candidate profile :
Candidates for the positions should possess the following:
An earned doctorate in educational psychology or related area by the date of employment;
At least three years of school teaching experience or its equivalent;
Documentation of effective teaching; and
Evidence of a well-developed research agenda and ability to attract external funding.
International or cross-cultural experience or research interests is preferable.
