Description/Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of Chemistry courses and laboratories to science and non-science majors.
Perform course-related and departmental assignments, including curriculum development and revision, and lab maintenance.
Attend required meetings, participate in college committees and engage in staff development activities for new faculty.
After the first year of teaching, serve as mentor to adjunct instructors.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Chemistry.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level desired.
Willing to teach alternative delivery methods (e.g., online, hybrid)desired.
An understanding and commitment to our community college mission and student success desired.
