This firm designs, manufactures, tests and installs systems in nuclear power generation plants as well as in manufacturing and processing environments around the world. They provide industry, utilities and government with systems integration, control panels, motor controls, electric motor services and electrical splicing tape.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Project Management: Macro-management as a PMO and micro-management as a PM
· Responsible for all project initiation, project completion and reporting on the status of the projects and trends
· Reports to the Organizational Excellence and Compliance manager
· Reviews Request for Quote (RFQ) for subsequent quote development.
· Reviews purchase orders and contracts.
· Provides Sales support.
· Provides technical support for all customers, internal and external.
· Communicates with vendors to obtain necessary technical information.
· Reviews documentation and technical data provided for each project.
· Supports and provides technical training for Project Management personnel.
· Witness subcontracted activities in accordance with EPRI 5652 guidelines, and as identified by UCI’s QA department.
· Travels to subcontractors site for witnessing.
REQUIREMENTS:
· BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
· Project Engineering/Management experience a must
· Quality Assurance experience a plus
· Computer skills: Word – Excel - MS Project - Power Point - Outlook
