Nationally certified Adult (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) needed to provide primary care to uninsured adolescents and adults in Chatham County, Georgia. The practice setting is a Nurse Managed Clinic that is expanding services with HRSA federal grant funding.
Responsibilities:
This position applies current scientific information to plan, implement, and evaluate primary care within the scope of advanced nursing practice. Collaborates with delegating physicians and other healthcare provider volunteers. Coordinates health services in an interdisciplinary and collaborative manner. Acts as a patient advocate. Advances desired health outcomes through patient, family and community education. Participates in nursing and other health professional students' clinical education. Provides competent and compassionate care in a manner consistent with the needs of those being served and available resources. Funding for this position is via HRSA federal grant . Extended employment is subject to annual continuation of grant funding.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited university required. Must possess current NP national certification, current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and current BCLS certification. Two to three (2-3) years' primary care experience preferred. Computer literacy required to work with electronic medical records.
