Be engaged in a variety of academic advising responsibilities to include: advising undergraduates in the Accounting, Accountancy, and Management Information Systems majors; evaluating professional program applications for these majors; providing central advising and assurance for those majors; advising international students within these majors; serve as the administrative liaison to the Student Progress Committee; assist with the learning assurance process that is part of the college accreditation; assist with new student orientation; teach the BUSN189 course for the College; other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must either have - or be working on - a Masters degree in a related field
Demonstrated effective problem solving ability
Desire to create new opportunities as the position allows
Effective oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrated success as a team player
Desire to grow and develop as a professional in an academic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed Masters degree
An undergraduate degree in accounting or information systems or a minor in business
Some experience advising students
Experience in higher education
Understanding NDSU and the College of Business structure and functions
