Human Resources Manager

General Summary
Lead, direct, manage and implement Human Resource programs by providing innovative, practical, and strategic human resource solutions that support the overall mission and goals of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Establishes, develops and maintains business partnerships with Management for the creation and application of HR initiatives, programs, and processes.
• Counsel and coach clients at all levels on issues related to performance management, legal compliance, staffing, team-building, organizational restructure, progressive discipline, conflict resolution, employee relations, and change management.
• Partner with Corporate and support functions such as Recruitment, Training and Development, Compensation, Benefits and Compliance to support the business/ facility objectives. Ensures that the site is compliance with DOL, EEOC, AAP and state employment regulations.
• Manage recruitment process for facility, including developing staffing plans, utilizing competency based assessment evaluations, organize capability assessments based on business strategy along with providing management with tools needed to effectively hire, develop, manage and retain employees.
• Provide guidance and training to site supervisors, managers, directors and vice presidents including policy interpretation and application and assistance with various employee relations issues.
• Manage Human Resources staff. Provide guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Job Specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related curriculum and 8+ years of related experience is required.
• Related experience consists of experience as an HR supervisor or manager in a manufacturing environment with HR generalist responsibilities.
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a working knowledge of PC software.
