Successful candidates will design and teach courses for both on campus and online students; engage in both independent and collaborative research and dissemination; supervise graduate student research projects; advise students of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds; provide leadership in the music education community; and contribute to the administration of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will be dynamic teachers and scholars with completed doctorates in music education or ABD close to defending their dissertations who are: experienced music teachers both at the K12 and collegiate levels; change agents for the betterment of music education; poised to develop national/international profiles and reputations as leaders in music education both in thought and action; engaged in ongoing scholarship; interested and able to collaborate with both colleagues and students; and active in appropriate national and/or international professional organizations. Successful candidates will embrace the roles of excellent teacher, active scholar, and contributing member of the University and community.
