Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Program Analyst for an opportunity located in Warren, NJ.
KNOWLEDGE:
Competent in the field of electronic packaging with specific experience in the area RF packaging. Employs a broad set of capabilities that include both design and analytical skill sets. Design skills shall include significant experience in Mechanical CAD software, SolidWorks and knowledge in a broad range of manufacturing processes. Such manufacturing processes shall include die casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, printed wiring board fabrication and surface mount soldering. Analytical skill set for thermal analysis capability with industry recognized software and static structural analysis capability is preferred, but not required.

Provides innovative resolutions to a diverse range of complex electronic packaging problems.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
-Devises new approaches to problems.
-Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.
-Acts as a key contributor for Mechanical design on various projects.
-Performs research, design and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, materials selection.
-Applies research to planning, design and development of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems, instruments and/or controls.
-Performs detailed mechanical design and drafting of RF products using SolidWorks.
-Conducts feasibility studies and tests new modified designs. May direct support personnel for design testing and in the preparation of prototype fabrication.
FREEDOM TO ACT WITHIN TECHNICAL DISCIPLINE
• Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions.
• Work is reviewed at appropriate milestones to ensure that overall objectives are being met; and
• Receives technical guidance on complex problems and supervisory approval for projects.

Has demonstrated track record of successfully completed assignments.
Represents the business unit on projects.
COMMUNICATION: Is capable and willing to have effective customer and supplier interactions and/or frequent inter-organization contacts.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• BS in mechanical engineering or related four (4) year technical degree; actively pursuing an advanced degree;
• Minimum of two years work experience involving the use of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices, as well as knowledge of typical manufacturing processes;
• Proficiency in solid modeling software – SolidWorks • Proficient in the use of SAP software
• Proficiency in the use of thermal analysis software – Flotherm or Icepak
• Must possess good oral/written communication skills;
• Requires the ability to regularly contact, influence and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issues; and • Must be able to respond to inquiries and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
