Everest College, a respected member of the Corinthian Colleges' network of schools, is dedicated to helping students get into new careers or get the edge in their current ones. At more than 100 campuses in the U.S. and Canada, Everest offers diplomas and/or degrees in the health care, business and computer technology fields. This includes accounting, business administration, dental assisting, massage therapy, medical assisting, medical insurance billing and coding, paralegal, and pharmacy technician programs.
General Duties:
- Maintain a teaching assignment for each class.
- Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met.
- Distribute a copy of the class schedule to all students at first class meeting.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student enrollment in both the diploma and degree programs.
- Design, administer and grade examinations.
- Actively maintain student retention by keeping accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, recording absentee information in roster, and communicating any attendance concerns to the Program Chair or DOE.
- Schedule and post office hours to advise, tutor and provide other student assistance as needed.

Requirements:
- The successful candidate will possess an Oregon registered pharmacists' license (the Washington RPh license is desirable), plus a minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail, hospital and/or long-term care pharmacy.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a wide variety of experience, including teaching, management/supervisory (PIC) related experience, compounding, and/or clinical experience.
- Must be available days and/or evenings.
