The Human Resources Business Partner Team Leader will work closely with our corporate business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that result in the improvement of this business unit’s performance to include: organizational development, change management, training and development, performance management, compensation, strategic planning and workforce planning. This individual will be a member of the business unit senior leadership team, as well as lead and/or participate in cross-functional project teams across the business unit.
Specific accountabilities include:
Leadership of the HR merger integration initiatives to include Retention, Selection, Relocation, Knowledge Transfer, and Change Management. Work in partnership with HR Merger Project Office, HR Centers of Expertise, and Securities business leadership team to flawlessly execute against merger integration plan.
Ensure full alignment of HR and human capital strategies with Securities core business strategies. This includes leading efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of HR products and services through HR delivery model. In addition, develop and implement the capability to deliver HR solutions through HR business partners located in key Securities regions.
Provide effective coaching and counsel to Securities executive leadership team to ensure that leaders are effectively employing strategies to develop and sustain high performance teams.
Build collaborative, trusting and credible relationships with business unit senior leadership team
Establish effective working relationships with all HR partners. Act as an expert resource on the development, deployment and management of HR policies and issues.
Design, develop and manage change efforts/communication strategies on behalf of business unit for mergers, re-organization, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc., and ensure that approach includes focus on all HR disciplines (i.e., compensation, executive compensation, benefits, performance management, diversity, employee relations, regulatory compliance, organizational development, training and employee development).
Effectively employ consulting tools and methodologies to determine employee performance needed to achieve business objectives, the gap between needed and actual performance, and the delivery of HR programs to maximize performance.
Partner with Corporate Compensation and business leaders in the design, implementation, and management of a total compensation strategy, compensation programs and reward strategies (i.e., incentive plans, retention programs, executive compensation).
Drive workforce planning with business managers, and partner closely with Recruiting Solutions to effectively help and stay plugged into the business units changing needs.
We are seeking a seasoned human resources professional who possesses broad experience across multiple HR disciplines. This individual will have a demonstrated record of success in building and managing strong working relationships with business leaders and corporate HR partners, as well as outstanding organizational consulting skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to strike the appropriate balance between enabling the business unit and the objectives/needs of the corporation. Specific requirements include:
15+ years of progressive HR consulting experience, with a strong preference for previous securities and/or financial services industry experience.
Previous management and /or supervisory experience required. Undergraduate degree needed. Graduate degree preferred.
Ability to build and develop strong working relationships with business and HR leaders is required, as well as experience across critical HR disciplines (performance management, employee relations and compliance, training, compensation, benefits, recruiting and organizational development).
Proven ability to develop, use, and promote collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
Outstanding communications skills with the ability clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals and groups are critical.
