Augsburg Fortress Canada, in partnership with Anglican Church of Canada, operates the Anglican Book Centre. Together, Augsburg Fortress/Anglican Book Centre provides a non-profit ministry to the Church as the supplier of books and Bibles, curriculum and worship resources, church supplies and ecclesiastical arts to serve the larger Christian community.
Responsibilities:
Engaging customers as they arrive
Consistently deliver exceptional customer experience to maximize store sales
Continuously learn about our wide range of products and resources
Merchandise the store by displaying product and keeping a clean, professional working environment.
Build customer relationships by getting to know them and their needs, recommending products that best fit their needs
Put all customers ahead of operational tasks to provide a positive customer experience
Assists customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery.
Keep up-to-date on in-store events and promotions, and actively promote them to our customers
Support a well-run operational environment by knowing and following all pertinent policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to continuously improve store operations and sales and share them with your manager.

Qualifications:
You have a demonstrated passion and talent for working in a team-based retail environment
You are passionate about selling and want to be a part of an inspiring Christian retail environment
You have excellent communication skills, high energy, and a willingness to learn and achieve results
