| Job description: | To coordinate online marketing efforts for all of PETA's celebrity-based campaigns
SALARY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE |
| Job duties: | • Develop marketing plans to reach specific audiences according to each celebrity campaign, incorporating the media, the Internet, and traditional marketing techniques
• Stay informed about celebrity news and gossip • Implement and manage aspects of approved celebrity campaigns, including writing and coordinating Web features, coordinating the development of ad and PSA concepts, and initializing planning meetings, as needed • Track and analyze the results of each campaign and adjust efforts accordingly • Manage celebrity campaign projects, maintaining communication between all relevant departments • Coordinate marketing efforts at the launch of each celebrity campaign • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor |
| Req. candidate profile : | • Three to four years of diverse marketing experience and a degree in a related field
• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues • Interest in celebrity news and gossip • Creativity and excellent writing and communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines • Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently or as part of a team • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally • Supportive position on PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues |
