To oversee the Advertising staff and the organization's approach to advertising, including the tracking and analysis of advertisements and promotional efforts, and develop future strategies based on the results; and to oversee the Audio-Visual Department's staff members and workflow
Job duties:
• Manage staff members in the Advertising and AV departments
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Advertising Department, including ensuring that all projects and requests are completed appropriately and on schedule
• Explore new marketing strategies and stay informed about current marketing trends
• Advise on offline ad/PSA creatives based on marketing research
• Develop and implement strategies and processes to pitch, track, and analyze offline advertising campaigns
• Manage the research, tracking, and analysis of the results of PETA's offline advertising campaigns, and alter efforts accordingly
• Develop and implement quality-assurance procedures for factors affecting advertising campaigns
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AV Department, including ensuring that all projects and requests are completed on schedule and that quality control has been performed
• Ensure that the AV library is properly maintained by monitoring checkout procedures for photographs, slides and negatives, video copies, and video/photographic equipment
• Ensure that AV equipment is properly maintained
• Generate standard operating procedures as needed and keep an updated archive of existing standard operating procedures
• Ensure that all projects are completed on budget
• Perform any other duties assigned by the vice president or director
Req. candidate profile :
• Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Proven understanding of marketing and advertising concepts and strategies
• Three to five years of management experience in a marketing or advertising environment
• Ability to make sound independent judgments
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
